Still a Place of Milk and Honey

Manila 2011

This entry is posted late because of poor internet connection in the office and a busy schedule. Anyway, last week, I, together my officemates, visited the busiest place in my country: Manila. The visit is an official business trip wherein we must also visit CAAP, Asia Foundation and Rex Bookstore.

Sir Jan, our I.T Specialist, also joines us in this trip. Ofcourse, we also have our driver, Kuya Ramil with us.

Sir Ranie and I-- We took our lunch at Jolibee, ironic as it seem, we traveled all the way to Manila just to take our lunch in a fastfood that is very common in our province. Well, nothing beats N2.hahaha

Kuya Ramil and Sir Jan, having coffee after our lunch. Actually, Kuya Ramil's drink (in green) is mine.haha

Me and my Green Tea Frappe :)

CPDFI staffs met Asia Foundation for book donations.

Mr. Ocampo shaking hands with me, for formality sake.haha

Sir Rannie at Rex Bookstore, look at the right side of this photo, that's me!

Food Trip! Sidewalk stalls near FEU.
Noisy, populous, busy, polluted, dirty--that's how I describe Manila in our visit, however, it's still a mystery to me why this place remains to be my country's place of milk and honey. If it's not, why would all of the people in Manila still wish to venture there?
