Those are the exact words that my Auntie Zenneth (My mom's big sister) told me (in a comment infb) in a picture under my album THANKSGIVING.
These are the my favorite photo which I took using a common digital camera in macroshot and some on a Nikon D40 (which is not mine). Enjoy.

It's been a universal fact for me that "beauty has a price". Though I would like to continue to take photos more often, a good DLSR camera would be a great help. Unfortunately, I don't have the means yet to buy one. Some time in the future, I wish to own a DSLR so that I can reveal this hidden passion to the world. So I might as well work hard for it. :)
This is a rainy morning, since I don't have any marketing tasks today, I might as well encode the records of high schools we invited for our foundation day.
While I'm encoding, two parents of students stayed in our office while their children are at the other office to enroll. They are telling stories about their motherhood expiriences. Here are some of the statements I've remembered:
Parents won't let you get hurt, so you might as well obey them all the time.
It's good to be a mom when you're children are all boys, you will be spoiled.
It's also better to have a daughter if you're a mom, you can doll her up, and when she grows up, she can help you with the chores.
Befriend your children to the point that they can open up their problems to you, before someone else's will.
It's good to have a family vacation, you and your children can have the luxury of time to converse.
It's ok to breed spoiled children, but not to breed brat ones. Know the difference of the two, and your limitations in spoiling as well.
The two moms talked to each other almost 30 minutes, in that span of time, they've talked alot about the joys of their motherhood.
I tried to decode their messages in a parent's point of view, but ofcourse I can't, because I'm not a parent myself. I did not remembered almost everything, but the statements mentioned above are enough to make me understand my mom more. What the? What's this drama all about?haha
Let me start this blog by giving a little information about myself, I hate waiting, I hate being late, and I hate the feeling of being alone and waiting for someone.
Let’s start.
I and Aika always go out almost every weekend, may it be for a coffee, movie or just to hang out. It seems like my week is incomplete without a date with her. Maybe because she, out of the very few friends of mine, makes comfortable sharing almost everything that is happening in my life.
Here’s the story.
We set this Friday for a moviedate (till my heartaches end). We both got excited because it had been a long time since we had our coffee together.
Because it is the feast of Sto. Entierro (Apung Mamacalulu in Pampango), our administration in work declared a half day. Hurray! Fortunately, Aika also texted me that she might be leaving work at around 3:00 pm. Perfect.
Because of the enrolment of freshmen that day, we extended until 4:00pm. On the other hand, Aika informed me that she’ll wait for her boss to come, if his boss did not show-up after 5:00 pm, and then we’ll meet.
I went home and took a rest, waiting for Aika’s go signal. I became bored, that’s why I went to the bank (that is walking distance from our home) to withdraw my salary, besides it’s payday (haha). After, I went to a convenience store to hang out while still waiting for her go signal.
Then a text came, saying that she can’t make it at our meeting time (which is supposed to be 5pm) and will be available at around 7pm. WTF?! This is intolerable, but I don’t why I agreed to wait for her for 2 more hours. Fine, I went home to get a book and decided to wait for her in a coffee shop while reading the book I got from home.
I went to Marquee Mall through a tricycle which is overpriced. There in the mall, there’s a sale of Crocs foot wear (good thing). But unfortunately, too many people in the sale and old style items on sale, exhausted me more from a long day of work.
I went in the section were new items are placed (without discount), and viola! I just saw myself leaving the store, holding a shopping bag with a footwear inside, and had almost all of my salary spent. See? This is what happens when I’m alone in a mall. (haha)
After the shopping-ambush incident, I went straight to a coffee shop. With my favorite frappe, my iPOD on, and a new book, now I’m all set to forget my unreasonable expenses and wait for the very beautiful Aika. Haha
Atlast, the most beautiful person in the world arrived. Haha
We had a small talk about our day, and left the coffee shop while being amazed with the costumed waiters of TGI Friday’s.
We cancelled the movie because she already watched it and I’m not even interested to see it (good thing.haha). So we walked around the mall looking for a perfect dinner spot (we deserve some good food!). The roads led us to Yellow Cab, because she’s not only beautiful, she’s also rich, she treat me with Charlie Chan Pasta and Pizza. To compensate with her treat, I gave her star gaycee. Hahahahaha. I felt so stupid walking across the mall bringing flowers (see how beautiful she is??haha).
The conversation after the meal (3 slices of pizza each and plate of pasta, see how hungry we were?), was priceless. I missed her and our conversation so much that I forgot how beautiful she was (lol).
She forced me to come at Baden’s party and a street party even though I have a stomachache (ouch). Then again, after a long negotiation, I agreed to come with her (superb beauty). We went to the street party first to meet Bhej (my good friend from college). In the street party, we stole attention because of the flower she was holding. In front of a church, a guy even played a prank on us. She’s very pretty for the nth time. Haha
After meeting Bhej, we went to Baden’s house, meet our friends, and went back to the street party. We had a drink on Bhej’s cousin’s stall, just two pitchers of beer.
Indicated in the negotiation is that I’ll go home early. I started my day at 7am and it’s about 11pm that night that I got tired, perhaps I deserve some rest right?haha That’s why went home and finish this very long day.
This is one day that will always be remembered. After a long week of work and stress, nothing beats unwinding in the weekends. The point is, with the quality of her company, she will always be worth the wait.
Earlier, this afternoon, I committed my first accident on wheels.
We were distributing letters for our foundation day (inviting high school students to participate in our competitons), well that’s a part of my job description now, which is in the field of marketing. Our route is in the vicinity of nearby municipalities such as Mexico and Arayat.
The trip went out so good, though we missed some schools because they are having semester break, somehow, 50% of our target was achieved.
In our marketing trips, we have this term called “sidetrips”, where we go out of our routes. For example, there is this bakeshop where they serve delicious and cheap egg pie, we should not suppose to go there because it’s out of our route, but we did.
This time, our driver saw a plantation and a store of watermelons; he became curious so he parked our service along the way, placing it on hazard. I and my companion (who is a teacher in the same institution) is having this short conversation…then, “BANG”! A motorcycle bumped our service’s driver’s door. After, he slipped and crash on the highway.
Luckily, no one got hurt. Minimal damage was done on our service. On the road, I am thinking, whose fault is it? Primarily, it’s on the motorcycle guy’s end, we were parked well and our service was on hazard.
But I thought, we were supposed to be on an official business trip, is buying watermelon included on that business trip? If we are not parked there, maybe the motorcycle guy would not bumped us.
I raised this issue on our driver. I have a point right? It’s not that I’m a fault finder, but he must learn his lesson.
But here’s what’s wrong about our driver, he is a good company: lots of stories to tell and has a good humor. Pero makitid ang kanyang utak (narrow minded), after I told him my analysis of the accident, he rendered me an awkward silence. He always do that, hindi ka niya kakausapin at papansinin pag may kang nasabi na ayaw niya.
It’s given, it’s not a part of his job to talk to me all the time, but I don’t want that uneasiness linger between the two of us, especially we will be working together often.
So that this argument will end, I just told my boss that we parked because we have to urinate. See? I have to lie so that I won’t hurt someone’s feeling. That’s very Filipino, and very inappropriate. Sigh.
Pakikisama and all that is making me sick, sana nakisama din siya diba?
A quotation from Mean Girls, a movie:
There are two types of evil people in the world, those who do evil stuffs and those who see evil stuffs and don’t do anything”.
Oh, now I know, I became evil just because I don’t want to hurt anyone. I don’t want to be hated, but I don’t also want to lie, just for a good impression. Apparently I did. I hope this is the last time that I will do that. Hmmm.
Since I have no marketing job today, I might as well answer this survey (friendster?). This is from Pamela (she hates this name.haha).

I don’t know if I’m getting this correctly, or I am just overacting.
Though it’s not appropriate, I’ve been close with my advisory class before, I don’t know now. But recently, I’ve been closer with some other students from another class, and I also don’t know why, perhaps we all share the same interest.
Remember my “Not So Long Weekend” post? I set up a sort of a closing party with my other students (not my advisory, which I first got closer to), maybe because this group are eager to throw a party with me. I’m waiting for my advisory class to approach me so that we can start planning for a closing party, but no one did.
I’ve posted the same blog on my facebook account where in almost all the groups of students mentioned are my friends, perhaps one or some of my advisory class read the blog.
I just had this feeling that depenetration stage is accommodating us, me and my advisory class, or perhaps, actually better, if I’m overacting or pre-emptying everything.
They (my advisory class) went to school this morning for their enrollment, I thought they would be excited to see me, because I am. But all I saw were just blank stares and some slight smiles. What’s wrong?
I’m not supposed to feel this way, this is very inappropriate. I guess it’s constant, profession and emotion must not intertwine. Sigh.
Coffee date later at 6pm with my friends and former college classmates Clang, Rj and Tal. Hope this would me make realize that I’m just really overacting on the situation.
It’s barangay election today and my second time to practice my voting rights (the first one is on national election 2010). Since I was a child, all I wish for is for me to turn 18 so that I will become eligible to vote. But why I’m not that excited for this election? Here are the reasons:
The requirements to run for a post are very insubstantial. Almost everyone can run, even those who are not sincere in running for the post. Since running in barangay election is cheaper than in running for the national and local election, everyone who has the means can run. Kahit nga tambay tumatakbo eh, may promise pa sila, pagkatapos naman ng eleksyon makikita mulang sila sa daan, umiinom. Too many choices on whom to vote make me more convinced that I should not participate in this election.
This morning I saw a leaflet of a barangay councilor running in a barangay in Mabalacat, all I saw in the leaflet is his family tree, all the family surnames of his spouse down to her children and even with his in-laws. I think something’s missing. Where’s the platform? Or plans to improve the community? This shows that this election is just a popularity contest, sort of an American Idol, the popular wins.
How will you vote someone who is not even following the election rules? Oversized tarps, not following the alcohol ban and not to mention the vote buying, and surprisingly, no one gets disqualified. It’s just the start, but they are already cheating.
It’s near 12:00 noon when we arrived at our barangay to vote. But I made up my mind, I will abstain from voting. My uncle told me “Sayang ya ing botu (my vote will be wasted)”. Then I told him that if I voted someone who I don’t even know, then it is also tantamount in wasting my vote. So it’s just the same.
I hope next election, whether be local or national, my eagerness to be involve will resurrect, because I miss being excited when election comes.
