Merry Christmas!

This Christmas is different for me. The primary reason for the difference is that I'm sick. So how's that for Christmas? This post is less dramatic because I already experienced a grown-up Christmas last year. So I'll just end this post with photos. :)

The prequel of this movie, The Dark Knight, is so far, my favorite movie of all time. Aside for its outstanding cinematography, and lighting, I am amazed by the story of this superhero movie, on how it tackles social issues that are prevailent in most of societies.

This is definitely one of the reasons why I look forward to 2012.

Planning 2012

My Planner for 2012 :) Let's plan good memories :)

In my country, a famous franchise of over-priced coffee have this Christmas marketing tradition of giving away planners, but the catch is that you must fill a card with stickers. Stickers can be redeemed by purchasing their drinks.

Last year, I joined the frenzy for my good friend Pam, a sort of a welcome home/Christmas gift to her. But this year, I'll be redeeming the planner for myself, and it can also be useful in the kind of work I have. It was also my gift for Pam. Here's the deal, Pam will get me a planner, then I'll get one for her. So basically, the planner is from Pam.

Many say that it's just vanity, that you'll spend almost 3,000 bucks to redeem the planner, but I say, the planner is just a perk, it's about the conversations you have while having the coffee for the stickers. May this planner be a positive omen for a good year to come. :)

Unconditional Doesn't Exist

One good reason why the Christmas Season makes me excited is because of Kris kringles. Kris kringle or exchange gift giving is annually done in almost Christmas parties. In my case, it highlights one of my principle in life, that there's no such thing as unconditional and if you want to receive,then learn how to give.

This year, Ma'am Joy, our accountant, luckily picked my name. Here's the catch, we, Ma'am Joy and I, play pranks on each other every single day in our work. We play like we are archenemies. That's why when the revelation came, our office mates were delighted.

On the other hand, I picked Kuya Dennis' name, our maintenance at work.

It's About Time

The Bizarre, Movie-Like, Love Story

Last 3 months, I was confronted with this bizarre, movie-like, scenario in my romantic life. Trust me, it’s really bizarre, and perhaps, a potential million-peso story if transcribed in film. But what puzzles me right now is that I kept on smiling once I think about that incident, wherein 3 months ago, it just made me feel so alone and depressed. At this point in time, I’d realized that “Life has a 3-word concrete definition: it goes on” and “Time heals”. I rest my case.
